About Steven Primo
Steven Primo has been actively trading the markets for over 47 years. His trading tenure began in 1977 when he was hired to work as a Floor Reporter, or "runner," on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange. Primo reached the pinnacle of his floor-trading career when he became a Stock Exchange Specialist for Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette. As a Specialist, he made markets in over 50 stocks, a position Primo held for nine years. Primo left the Stock Exchange floor in 1994 to focus on managing money and to teach his unique approach to trading the markets.
Steven Primo and ProTrader Strategies also co-developed and designed the PTS Primo Charting Platform. This innovative charting portal differs from most other trading platforms because it emphasizes education and teaches traders how to trade. Many of the tools, techniques, and strategies available on the PTS Primo Charts were accumulated from Steven's days on the trading floor. Scores of students, from beginner to advanced levels, have become successful traders after being introduced to Primo's proprietary trading methods.
Steven has also been featured in "Stocks and Commodities" magazine. He frequently contributes to many sites, such as Trading Markets, FX Street, Forex Pros, Traders Conference, and Traders Expo. His strategies are now traded globally in over 108 countries on six continents.
